Contec Global’s African Secretariat Initiative

For more than 30 years, Benoy Berry has served as the CEO and chairman of Continental Transfer Technique Limited (CONTEC), an international company based in London that implements large-scale projects and provides systems-based solutions in developing nations. Benoy Berry has also helped cultivate Contec Global’s corporate social responsibility program, which includes the African Secretariat initiative.

On its website, Contec Global states that the African Secretariat is one of the group’s most comprehensive and ambitious initiatives, as it strives to build a bridge between Africa and other nations around the world. The program leverages Contec Global’s sustaining presence in Africa to promote a wide range of international interactions, such as trade, cultural exchange, and business investment. According to Contec Global, previous efforts to establish cooperative efforts related to infrastructure and the economy between Africa and other countries have been largely unsuccessful despite Africa’s wealth of human and natural resources.

The African Secretariat project seeks to bring Africa to the forefront of the global economy through exchange rather than humanitarian aid. In its first endeavor, the African Secretariat launched efforts to facilitate economic cooperation between Africa and India.
